As one of the earliest Saudi publications, it was later reprinted with funding from King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz and again under the sponsorship of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz during his tenure as Governor of Riyadh Province.

He stated that the Throne was upon water before the creation of the heavens and the earth, as mentioned in the Quran. The book also discusses the weight of the Throne, emphasizing its immense greatness, as reflected in the Prophet Muhammad’s, peace be upon him (PBUH) supplication: “Glory be to Allah, equal to the weight of His Throne.” Ibn Taymiyyah affirmed that the Throne is above all creation, with the Creator, Exalted is He, being above it, and that its surface serves as the ceiling of all creation.

The book The Throne of the Most Merciful and the Verses and Hadiths Related to It was authored by Ahmad Bin Abdulhalim Bin Abdul-Salam Taqi ad-Din Ibn Taymiyyah. He was born in Harran and later moved with his parents to Damascus, where he excelled and gained widespread recognition. Ibn Taymiyyah was imprisoned in 1320 and passed away while detained in the Citadel of Damascus. His works number around three hundred, including: al-Jawami' (The Compendiums), al-Fatawa (The Fatwas), al-Iman (Faith), al-Jam' Bayn al-Naql wa al-'Aql (Reconciliation Between Revelation and Reason).
