KAIMRC branches
The KAIMRC branches in the western and eastern regions constitute an important scientific research provider in both regions. Their work parallels the center's work in the central region, with each branch distinct for different research efforts. The KAIMRC branches in the western and eastern regions strive to provide a modern environment with advanced technologies, enabling scientists and researchers to accomplish research achievements. The center's support extends to all those interested in medical research in the Kingdom and abroad, and not only to national guard and public health officers.
KAIMRC projects
The KAIMRC is implementing various projects, most notably: the Saudi Biobank, Cord Blood Bank, Trauma Research, and Saudi Stem Cell Donor Registry. Through the Saudi Biobank, KAIMRC aims to prepare research examining the environmental factors that cause certain chronic diseases to serve researchers in the field of public health and chronic diseases.
The center also works through the Cord Blood Bank project to collect cord samples to extract and preserve stem cells for use in transplants to treat leukemia and a range of various disorders.
The KAIMRC is keen on conducting and developing trauma research.
Through the Saudi Stem Cell Donor Registry project, the center seeks to establish and maintain national records of stem cell donors' samples and data in the Kingdom.
