Deem Cloud is a government cloud computing platform in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, launched by the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) in 2018. It serves as an innovative and technological solution supporting government entities in their digital transformation efforts, aligning with the realization of Saudi Vision 2030. Deem Cloud is the largest of its kind in the Middle East.

Deem Cloud, hosted by the National Information Center, the operational arm of SDAIA, provides an integrated infrastructure based on modern, highly secure technologies. It enables government entities to efficiently manage and utilize their technological assets under a unified platform. The platform contributes to reducing government spending on infrastructure protection, management, and operation while enhancing the level of technical services offered by government centers.

By the end of 2023, the platform had provided fifty-one cloud services and features to government entities and sectors. Deem Cloud hosted approximately 236 government data centers for around 181 government entities, generating savings and revenue opportunities valued at SAR5.6 billion. It contributed to reducing government spending in this area, cutting carbon emissions by approximately 608,000 t, and decreasing energy consumption by sixty-four MW.

The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) works to enhance the Kingdom's position among leading digital economies. It aims to introduce younger generations to the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and data while striving to raise societal awareness of the importance of data and AI technologies in shaping the future.
