The Jeddah Museum is one of the museums in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, located in Jeddah City in Makkah al-Mukarramah Province, west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It focuses on the cultural and historical heritage of Saudi Arabia. The museum is housed in Khuzam Palace, which was commissioned by the Founding King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulrahman Al Saud, in 1928. It was later converted into a museum and opened on March 18, 1995.

Halls of Jeddah Museum

The museum features several exhibition halls, including the entrance hall, which displays a Quranic verse illustrating the connection between religion and archaeological studies, photographs of the Two Holy Mosques, a panel about the network of museums in Saudi Arabia, and a traditional boat showcasing the significance of marine resources in the lives of Jeddah City residents.

Pre-Islamic Era Hall

The Pre-Islamic Era Hall at Jeddah Museum showcases the period from the Stone Ages to the end of the pre-Islamic era. It features a collection of stone tools, pottery pieces, inscribed panels, and rock carvings that reflect this period, in addition to texts and images depicting pre-Islamic times.

Islamic Hall

The Islamic Hall highlights the era beginning with the Prophet Muhammad’s, peace be upon him (PBUH), migration to al-Madinah al-Munawwarah, through the era of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, and the subsequent Islamic periods. It displays various artifacts, along with panels containing texts, images, and diagrams from these times

Unification of Saudi Arabia Hall

The Unification of Saudi Arabia Hall narrates the story of Saudi Arabia’s unification, starting with the First Saudi State to the present day. It showcases panels and images of the Saudi state’s phases, as well as films and a curated selection of Saudi Arabia's heritage artifacts.

King Abdulaziz Hall

The King Abdulaziz Hall contains some of the king’s personal belongings and historical photographs of his life.

King Saud Hall

The King Saud Hall features some of his personal belongings, as well as photographs and documents related to his life.

Jeddah Hall

The Jeddah Hall exhibits displays about Jeddah City and its development stages, featuring old photographs and maps of the city.
