The 2030 Leaders Program is a program dedicated to developing Saudi leaders, spanning a time frame of nine months. It was launched by the Mohammed Bin Salman Misk Foundation in October 2021, to produce qualified leaders who contribute to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030. They lead institutions and teams, and the program collaborates with international academic partners. It is based on advanced global standards in training.
The program works to hone leadership skills and guide leaders to build ideas that achieve impactful results. It includes virtual sessions between training units to introduce the objectives of the units. The program also features executive mentoring sessions for individuals and groups. Participants are required to present a graduation project, which serves as a practical application of the training and constitutes an essential part of the program.
Work methodology of 2030 Leaders Program
The program emphasizes intellectual and behavioral flexibility among its participants. Flexibility is a key factor in innovation and progress. Behavioral flexibility focuses on balancing conflicting priorities, which means reconciling the need for patience with the imperative of swift completion. On the other hand, intellectual flexibility centers on recognizing one's cognitive abilities and thought tendencies, enabling a leader to determine the right course of action in challenging situations. The program works to enhance both of these attributes.
The 2030 Leaders Program contributes to qualifying proficient competencies that participate in driving transformation and progress. They offer solutions to address economic and social challenges and participate in the Misk Leadership Society and the branches of the ESADE Graduates Association. Participants in the program acquire diverse strategies that assist them in implementing innovative changes across broad fields.
2030 Leaders Program admission requirements
The program selects Saudi candidates to join based on a set of criteria, which represent the qualities and behaviors related to the competency model of the 2030 Leader. Feedback is provided to the candidates who have reached advanced stages, so they can benefit from it in enhancing their capabilities.
To apply for the program, candidates must have a minimum of ten years of professional leadership experience in the private, public, or non-profit sectors, five of which need to be in a position of leadership. Furthermore, candidates must be proficient in spoken and written English and might be requested to present proof of linguistic competency.
