Red Sea Fashion Week (RSFW) is an international cultural and economic event in the fashion industry held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Organized by the Fashion Commission under the Saudi Ministry of Culture, the event took place on May 16, 2024, and lasted for about three days.
RSFW events
The RSFW began with an opening fashion show on the first day, followed by side events and runway shows over two days. The event welcomed experts, critics, and enthusiasts in the fashion industry locally, regionally, and internationally. The designers participating in the RSFW include Hadia Ghaleb, Niluu, Sarah al-Tuwaim, Yasmina Q, and Tima Abid.

The Fashion Commission organized the RSFW at the St. Regis Resort on Ummahat Island, one of the Saudi islands located on the Red Sea.
RSFW objectives
The RSFW aims to support the fashion sector in the Kingdom and integrate it into global markets as a key economic driver. The event also fosters communication and cultural exchange, develops local talents, and integrates them into the international scene in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. It seeks to enrich the cultural sector, which is part of the national output, thus contributing to the Kingdom's economic development.
Participants in RSFW
Seven brands participated in the RSFW, including five Saudi brands and two international ones. The event featured various activities and fashion shows, showcasing collections of jewelry, ready-to-wear garments, and resort wear designed by Saudi designers alongside global experts and specialists in the fashion industry.
