Al-Musayjid village is located in a region known as Buqaat Aazan, twenty-five km southeast of al-Da'ir Governorate, Jazan Province, southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is one of the villages of Bani Malik.

The village is several hundred years old, as reported by the village's elderly. It consists of two squared towers of eight floors each. Rising approximately thirty m each, the towers are located at the village's center and are surrounded by shorter towers.

Each of the towers comprises a room including three containers for storing grains. The shorter towers were used for sleeping, cooking, and hosting guests. Some towers feature external stairs and several storage rooms with a depth of four m used as granaries.

Al-Musayjid village is renowned for its architectural style, ornamentation, and heritage inscriptions carved on maru stones of which balconies, windows, doors, and roof extremities were made.
