Jeddah Superdome

Jeddah Superdome is one of largest free-standing geodesic dome. Located in Jeddah City, west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it is a venue for hosting events, exhibitions, projects, and conferences. Construction took ten months, and the dome was inaugurated on June 9, 2021.

The Guinness Book of Records registered the dome for its geometric architectural design inspired by a spider web, which formed the largest dome with a connected roof.

Jeddah Superdome spans 39,753 m and is forty-six m high. Its inner diameter is 210 m, while its outer diameter is 220 m. The dome encompasses sixteen public entrances, one dedicated to VIPs, ten service entrances, and forty-four emergency exits.

The dome's metal brackets can withstand up to 444 t and feature six screens, each seventy-two m long and seven m high, with a resolution of up to twenty-four million pixels. Additionally, it is equipped with high-precision audio systems distributed throughout the dome and can host four events simultaneously.

The Jeddah Superdome provides various parking options for its visitors and employees. It offers a total of 5,142 parking spaces, which includes over four thousand spots for visitors, covering an area of 11,896 m². Additionally, there are 420 VIP parking spaces available, occupying 15,011 m². The facility also has 348 parking spots designated for employees, eighty-eight spaces for people with disabilities, and seventeen spots for special services. Furthermore, the dome contains four rooms dedicated to electrical systems, each spanning forty-four m².

Jeddah Superdome hosted several festivals and events, including the JTTX Music Festival, Supercon 2022, the Bisat al-Reeh Exhibition for modern designs and products, and the Jeddah International Motor Show. The dome also featured international and local exhibitions, such as the Hajj and Umrah Conference and Exhibition, as well as cultural and sports events. Additionally, Jeddah Superdome was selected as one of the nine zones dedicated to Jeddah Season 2022.
