The Riyadh Economic Forum is a forum that contributes to empowering the private sector, sheds light on economic issues, activates them, and diagnoses their challenges while adopting suggestions and recommendations that contribute to driving the economy forward and improving it to achieve sustainable economic development. Since the launch of its first session in October 2003, the forum has issued approximately fifty-seven studies and 308 recommendations and initiatives up to 2022. The forum is held once every two years.
Objectives of the Riyadh Economic Forum
The Riyadh Economic Forum aims to achieve several objectives, including studying and diagnosing issues affecting the national economy, identifying and analyzing obstacles to economic growth and working to overcome and mitigate them, proposing practical solutions to assist in economic decision-making, enabling the principle of dialogue and participation among different sectors of the economic community, reviewing and benefiting from similar global experiences, and discussing national economic issues by employing the latest scientific methods and a methodology based on brainstorming groups to contribute to creating sustainable economic development.
