Abdullah al-Mutlaq

Abdullah Bin Mohammed al-Mutlaq is an advisor to the Royal Court. He is a member of the Council of Senior Scholars in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a popular figure on social and conventional media outlets.

Abdullah al-Mutlaq obtained a PhD in comparative law from the High Judicial Institute at Imam Mohammed Bin Saud Islamic University. His efforts cover knowledge sharing and publications in the field of Islamic Fiqh. His publications include "Facilitated Fiqh of al-Sunna," "The Supply Contract," "Investigating Honor Crimes," "The Good End," "Women Testimonies before the Judiciary," and "Auction Sale."

Abdullah al-Mutlaq chaired the Department of Comparative Fiqh at the High Judicial Institute. He is a member of the Saudi Banks Sharia Authority, among other financial institutions. He is also a member of the Saudi Fiqh Association and the Sharia Council of the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI). He is a former member of the Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta, the chairman of the board of trustees of King Abdulaziz Center for Cultural Communication, the head of the Sharia committee of "Ehsan" platform, and the chairman of the board of directors of the Charity Center for Learning the Noble Quran and its Sciences.

Abdullah al-Mutlaq is one of the most notable figures on scholarly platforms. He holds a track record of televised appearances on Saudi channels. He has recorded programs on Fatwas, advice, and guidance. He has deployed efforts in guiding the community on public and special occasions.

Abdullah al-Mutlaq was one of the main participants of "Nur 'Ala al-Darb" radio program on the Noble Quran for years. He participated in the program for years, where his recordings are shared on radio stations, websites, and social media platforms. He also covered the topics of disasters and contemporary issues, where he explained matters related to religious provisions on contemporary issues.

Abdullah al-Mutlaq was renowned for the attention he attached to social and youth-related issues. He guided, visited, and met youth at educational and university establishments.
