Zaabal Castle
Zaabal Castle is located northwest of Sakaka City. It dates back to the Nabataean era, from the first century BCE to the first century CE. Access to the castle was previously limited to Almoravid military men scouting the enemy. The castle has an irregular form. It features four cylindrical towers. The castle was used for monitoring and war-related purposes.
Marid Castle
Marid Castle is located in al-Der' Neighborhood, in Dumat al-Jandal Governorate. It was built on a high hill overlooking Daumat al-Jandal in al-Jawf Province. It was a strong fortress against the enemy. The oldest mention thereof dates back to the third century CE.
Al-Saidi Castle
Al-Saidi Caste or al-Saidi Mountain Castle is located in al-Qurayyat Governorate, in al-Jawf Province. The castle covers the overall mountain surface. It probably dates back to the Nabataean era. It includes two water tanks covered with basalt stones.
