Various regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia host entertainment seasons that feature diverse programs and special events, including:
1- Riyadh Season
This event is a global entertainment festival held annually in Riyadh City. It is one of the initiatives of the General Entertainment Authority in the Kingdom. The first edition was launched on October 11, 2019, across areas totaling approximately fourteen million m², under the slogan "Imagine." The season featured around one hundred events suitable for all ages across various fields, such as culture, art, sports, and specialized exhibitions.
2- Jeddah Season
It is one of the entertainment seasons launched within the Saudi Seasons initiative, which organizes artistic, musical, cultural, recreational, and sporting events in Jeddah City. The first edition was held between June 8 and July 29, 2019. However, this event was halted for two years due to COVID-19, and its activities resumed during the second edition between May and June 2022.
3- Al-Ula Moments
Al-Ula Moments is one of the entertainment seasons launched within the Saudi Seasons initiative. It provided diverse events in celebration of the historical and cultural legacy of al-Ula Governorate. The season commenced in December 2021 and ended in March 2022.
4- Al-Soudah Season
It is a tourism season launched by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (currently the Ministry of Tourism) in 2019 to introduce as-Sudah and Abha City in Aseer Province as a part of the Saudi Seasons initiative. Al-Soudah Season showcased tourist, historical, and cultural sites, highlighting the province's cultural and artistic diversity.
As-Sudah hosted the season's special events. It is a mountainous area in the Sarawat Mountains, northwest of Abha City in Aseer Province, with an altitude of approximately 3,015 m above mean sea level.
5- Diriyah Season
It is an annual festival held to celebrate the cultural heritage of ad-Dir'iyyah through a diverse group of events and unique experiences that cater to the visitor's interests. The season features several live shows, art exhibitions, culinary experiences, and outdoor activities that make Diriyah Season a desired destination for families, friends, and individuals of all ages.
