Yes, there are remnants of ancient civilizations in Wadi Fatimah in Makkah al-Mukarramah, west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Archaeological surveys have revealed thirty-two archaeological sites in the valley that date back to the Acheulean civilization, one of the early human civilizations of the Stone Age, dating back to around 2600 BCE. Various tools of different sizes and for multiple purposes were found at these archaeological sites, including hand axes, drills, scrapers, chisels, cleavers, stone cores, knives, and hoes.
