Al-Ula Animal Welfare Center is a facility established by the Royal Commission for al-Ula on September 1, 2023, in al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Province, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Services of al-Ula Animal Welfare Center

Al-Ula Animal Welfare Center offers al-Ula Veterinary Clinic initiative, which implements the internationally recognized TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Release) program. This program involves capturing stray animals, neutering them, vaccinating them, and then releasing them, aiming to control the increasing population of stray cats and dogs. Additionally, the center provides essential veterinary care services for pets owned by the residents of al-Ula.

The Stray Animal Management Program aims to reduce the number of stray animals, provide care for pets, and prevent the spread of diseases by administering appropriate vaccinations and ensuring protection against parasites.

Shelters of al-Ula Animal Welfare Center

Al-Ula Animal Welfare Center established the Canaan Dog Shelter and the Arabian Cat Shelter to provide a safe haven for vulnerable stray animals. These shelters aim to raise community awareness about the importance of treating stray animals kindly through various activities that promote the care and support of these animals, while also working to provide safe homes for a larger number of them.
