The Saturday Historical Market is located in Baljurashi Governorate, al Bahah Province, south of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It dates back to more than one hundred years and is one of the most famous markets in the region. It is organized each Saturday of every week from morning to noon and is surrounded by a group of small shops that sell janbiyas (daggers), knives, fabrics, and perfumes, in addition to jewelry and women's supplies.
Many sellers from inside and outside of Baljurashi Governorate come to the Saturday Historical Market to display their various products, such as fruits and vegetables, honey and ghee, dates, old copper utensils, and women's supplies, such as jewelry, clothes, and handicrafts. Moreover, different types of birds and livestock are also sold in the market.
The Saturday Historical Market also includes kiosks for women that sell some woven goods. The market also welcomes sellers of panadus, basil, ghee and local honey.
