Stone circles in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are located along ancient trade routes in various provinces of the Kingdom. Some of them are located in Riyadh Province, along the old trade route, where a large stone circle exists north of the town of Sdoos. The circumference of this circle is as high as the height of a man, featuring a twisted tail forming interconnected triangles along the edge of the plateau.
Northeast of Riyadh City, on the trade route from "Hajr al-Yamamah" to Basra, there is a stone circle with a large central signpost (Souah), and facing it to the west is a long tail, whose diameter ranges from sixty to eighty cm in height.
In Tabuk Province of the Kingdom, several stone circles are found. One is located on Qarat al-Huwair on the eastern road heading north to Tayma. The circle consists of six triangles, as it is considered one of the largest interconnected triangles. Its southern side is about forty m long, with the base approximately thirty m. The Qarah also includes a signpost on the west edge.
Another notable circle, hollow in the middle, is situated in Tabuk Province on the old route east of the Hejaz Mountains, with a diameter of about ninety m. Large circles and long tails are common along this route, extending to the Jordanian border.
