Research Priorities Program
The Center of Research Excellence in Arabic Language has launched the Research Priorities Program, which aims to achieve the center's vision of becoming the most distinguished hub for applied Arabic language research in the Kingdom. These domains include: language and identity, language and society, language and media, language and children, language and translation, language and artificial intelligence, language and social media, Arabic language and distance education, and teaching Arabic for specific purposes.

In 2020, it received the Makkah Excellence Award in the Cultural Excellence category for its initiative "Quran Language Endowment."
