The Future of Media Exhibition 'FOMEX' is an artistic, technical, and media exhibition that brings together specialists and enthusiasts in the fields of media and cinema to exchange ideas and showcase the latest technological advancements and innovations across various media domains. The first edition was launched in 2022 in Riyadh City, and the second edition was held in 2024.

Future of Media Exhibition programs

The Future of Media Exhibition features pavilions from various countries and diverse activities, including seminars, workshops, and programs that promote audiovisual productions. These events are conducted by specialists in editing, film production, photography, virtual and augmented reality, and 'stand-up' comedy. The exhibition also attracts numerous media professionals from around the world.

The first edition of the Future of Media Exhibition

The first edition, held in Riyadh City from November 10-12, 2022, saw the attendance of one thousand media professionals and one hundred exhibitors spread across approximately 150 pavilions from around the world. The exhibition included seminars, engineering workshops, and programming sessions to promote audiovisual productions. These events featured participation from specialists in filmmaking, editing, photography, and film production.

The second edition of the Future of Media Exhibition

The second edition took place in Riyadh City from February 19-21, 2024. The event attracted two hundred local and international companies that showcased the latest trends in content creation, development, production, broadcasting, content management, and post-production.

During the exhibition, the Ministry of Media launched the digital platform for Saudipedia, intended to serve as a comprehensive knowledge reference about the Kingdom and the primary source of Saudi information in multiple languages.

This edition included seventy-five discussion sessions with the participation of 150 local and international speakers and was attended by 15,000 visitors.
