Riyadh Techno Valley

Riyadh Techno Valley is a strategic project of "Riyadh Valley" Company affiliated with King Saud University, established in 2009, and located in Riyadh City, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to stimulate and encourage scientific research, invest in innovation and creation, and employ national talents in various technical, service, knowledge, and vital fields in order to achieve sustainable development and create a modern knowledge environment.

The Riyadh Techno Valley project aims to develop and transfer technology to serve the national economy and achieve sustainable development. It encourages participation and collaboration between King Saud University and research and development centers through local and international companies. The project seeks to create an attractive environment for local and international investment companies interested in research and development, polarize and discover talented, innovative, and creative individuals from within the Kingdom and abroad, contribute to creating job opportunities in industry and knowledge sectors, and develop and improve the university's self-resources to ensure its financial stability.

The Riyadh Techno Valley complex spans an area of 1,670,000 m² and includes several zones: the center, which comprises incubators and a support services office; the university, responsible for research services and intellectual property, serving the local market through laboratories and the entrepreneurs center; the research and development, hosting research institutes affiliated with governmental and private entities, and specialized research centers; the technology companies area, dedicated to commercial companies specializing in fields of interest to Riyadh Techno Valley; and the scientific village, a residential and recreational area open to visitors from Riyadh City and beyond.
