The On-the-Job Training Program "Tamheer" was launched by the National Labor Portal "Taqat" in 2017. This program is designed to support job seekers holding bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees, as well as diplomas in health, administrative, and technical fields. It aims to equip participants with the necessary skills and experiences to join the labor market.

Support mechanism in Tamheer Program

Tamheer Program supports beneficiaries by providing training opportunities in government institutions, companies, and international organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The training duration ranges from three to six months, during which trainees receive a monthly stipend of SAR3,000 for bachelor's degree holders and above, and SAR2,000 for diploma holders.

The program offers several benefits to its participants, including work risk insurance and access to online training courses. Additionally, upon completing the program, trainees receive a certificate of experience from the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) 'Hadaf'.

Requirements for obtaining a certificate of experience

The trainee obtains a certificate of experience upon meeting certain conditions, which include completing the online training courses, maintaining an attendance rate of no less than 75 percent at the facility during the specified period, and the trainee’s evaluation of the program, in addition to the program’s evaluation of the trainee, while not violating any of the facility’s regulations that may result in exclusion

Tamheer Program outcomes for 2022

From its launch in 2017 until 2022, over seventy thousand male and female trainees benefited from Tamheer Program. Notably, in 2021 and 2022, the program witnessed a significant increase in the number of participants, constituting 66 percent of the total beneficiaries since the program's inception.
