The Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality in Riyadh is one of the hospitality institutes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which also includes the Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality in Jazan and al-Bahah. It is one of the strategic partnership institutes of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). The institute was inaugurated in Riyadh City in 2011-2012, in collaboration between the Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality in the Kingdom (HTMi Saudi Arabia) and TVTC.

Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality in Riyadh programs

The Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality in Riyadh offers both theoretical and practical training, adhering to global quality standards and keeping pace with the increasing demand for luxury in service. It is considered one of the key sectors in hospitality.

The institute offers several programs, including diploma programs where trainees study for twenty-four months covering hotel management, tourism, restaurants, events, marketing and sales, and culinary arts; an associate diploma of twelve months focusing on food and beverage production and service; and four-month programs in accounting and sales, front office operations, housekeeping, food production, food and beverage service, and tourism and travel. There is also a six-month hotel management program.

The Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality in Riyadh aims to raise community awareness about the impact of individuals and their contributions to gross domestic product (GDP) growth. It seeks to establish strategic partnerships with relevant entities, achieve excellence through professionalism, improve quality in administrative and operational performance, and activate the role of women in productive sectors. Additionally, the institute aims to empower employees in the hospitality and tourism sectors at the regional level.

The institute's vision is summarized in its commitment to developing human capital and achieving global quality. Its mission includes developing individuals, operational processes, and business projects by providing a team of experts in distinguished projects, modern infrastructure, and advanced software solutions in technology.

HTMI the Kingdom

HTMi the Kingdom was established in 2015 as a partnership between the Hotel and Tourism Management Institute (HTMi) in Switzerland and the Higher Institute for Tourism and Hospitality (HITH). HTMi the Kingdom is part of Eurhodip and is accredited by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Students studying at HTMi in the Kingdom receive dual diplomas from the partnering Swiss and Saudi institutes.
