Riyadh Elm University is a private Saudi university, established in 2004 and located in Riyadh City, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It comprises four colleges and offers seven bachelor's programs in addition to master's degrees in the fields of Dentistry and Pharmacy.

History of Riyadh Elm University

Riyadh Elm University began its activities in 2004 under the name Riyadh College of Dentistry and Pharmacy. In 2008, it was renamed Riyadh Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy. In 2018, the Council of Ministers approved its transformation into a university under the name "Riyadh Elm University."

In 2010, the university received reaccreditation for institutional academic accreditation for the period 2017-2024, and program accreditation for the period 2017-2021. It also obtained institutional and program academic accreditation from the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA) for the period 2010-2017.

Riyadh Elm University also received approval to establish the King Salman Center for Children's Health, which specializes in health education for children.

Riyadh Elm University colleges

Riyadh Elm University comprises four health colleges, one of which is the College of Dentistry. This college includes four departments: the Department of Preventive Dentistry, the Department of Restorative Dentistry, the Department of Prosthodontics, and the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Diagnostic Sciences. The College of Pharmacy offers a Bachelor's program in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master's program in Clinical Pharmacy. The College of Nursing offers a Bachelor's program in Nursing. The College of Applied Medical Sciences includes four specializations: Medical Laboratory Science, Dental Hygiene, Dental Assistance, and Dental Laboratory Technology.

The Campus of Riyadh Elm University

Riyadh Elm University consists of four main buildings located in various neighborhoods in Riyadh. Al-Namuthajiyah Campus on King Fahd Road houses the offices of faculty members and staff, as well as digitally equipped educational facilities for students. Al-Olaya Campus on Olaya Street serves as the headquarters for the Deanship of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research and comprises two clinical floors, two lecture hall floors, and a floor for preclinical laboratories. Al-Munesiyah Campus, in the eastern part of Riyadh on Dammam Road, is designated for graduate-level lectures, seminars, and clinical sessions. The Qurtubah Campus on King Khalid International Airport Road in the northeast of Riyadh hosts the complete series of pre-medical instruction programs and pharmaceutical laboratories.

Academic Advising Center at Riyadh Elm University

The Academic Advising Center is one of five centers at Riyadh Elm University, located in Riyadh City. This center provides guidance and counseling to university students in psychological, social, and academic aspects. It supports the education system as part of the teaching and learning processes and helps students become acquainted with the university environment.
