Saudi Entertainment Academy

The Saudi Entertainment Academy, one of the Strategic Partnerships Institutes at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is a training academy focused on preparing Saudi human resources with essential skills for the entertainment industry. This is achieved through the delivery of specialized artistic programs accredited and ending with employment.

The Saudi Entertainment Academy was established in Riyadh City in 2019, through a quality partnership between Mena Company for Education and Development and Bunyan Development Limited, with support from the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. It stands as the first entertainment academy at both the local and regional levels.

The Saudi Entertainment Academy works towards achieving several goals, including: providing specialized training programs in the entertainment sector, such as managing parks, festivals, music concerts, theatrics, sports, films, and more; qualifying Saudi human resources; and contributing to increasing local content in the sector. The academy also aims to expand geographically to cover all major Saudi markets, to develop e-learning platforms and online program offerings.

The Saudi Entertainment Academy offers intensive training diplomas in designing, managing, and developing various entertainment fields, including: Crowd Management Diploma in Entertainment Areas, Public Safety Management in Entertainment Centers, Entertainment Center Design, Theme Park Design, Entertainment Center Maintenance Management, and Information Technology Developer for Electronic Games. The academy also provides various short-term courses in diverse sectors, such as project management, team management, customer care, marketing and promotion for events, snack food service, and courses for promoting Saudi seasons via social media platforms.

There are many criteria for registration in programs of the Saudi Entertainment Academy, including: The applicant must be between eighteen and thirty years old, a Saudi national, currently unemployed, hold a high school degree, and not have a commercial register. The applicant should not be registered with social security or social insurance and not supported or previously sponsored by the Human Resources Fund. Furthermore, he must pass the Career Interest and Attitude Test/ Moyoul Test, the English Language Placement Test, and the interview with the academy and the employing company.
