The list of natural reserves in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia boasts nine natural reserves, all managed by the National Center for Wildlife (NCW). These areas were identified following studies and surveys to ensure their suitability and sustainability for preserving wildlife. Over the last few years, rare animals have been reintroduced into these reserves, and laws have been enacted to protect them from hunting and poaching. The reserves are:

Jabal Shada Reserve

It spans 68.62 km² and was established as a reserve in 2004. The reserve's trees include juniper and wild olive (Olea europaea).

Uruq Bani Mu'arid Reserve

It is located at the southwestern edge of ar-Rub' al-Khali (Empty Quarter) Desert. It is a habitat to key wildlife such as sand cats (Felis margarita) and wolves (lupus) and the rest of the wildlife present is well-suited to desert life. It was announced as a national reserve in 1992 and spans 12,787 km².

Nufud al-ʽUrayq Natural Reserve

Located southwest of Qassim Province. It was announced as a natural reserve in 1994 and spans 2,036.1 km².

Majami' al-Hadb Natural Reserve

It was announced as a natural reserve in 1991. It features volcanic mountains and desert plains and spans 2,256.4 km².

Farasan Islands Natural Reserve

Located in the southeastern Red Sea, its flora includes Myroxylon, Ziziphus jujuba, and Vachellia tortilis. It was announced as a natural reserve in 1989 and spans 5,408 km².

Raydah Natural Reserve

Located in the Sarawat Mountains in the southwest of the Kingdom. It was announced as a natural reserve in 1989 and spans 9.33 km².

Ibex Reserve

It is located 180 km from Riyadh City. It was announced as a natural reserve in 1988. It is a large plateau spanning 1,840.9 km².

Umm al-Qamari Island Reserve

It is located southwest of al-Qunfudhah Governorate and is named Umm al-Qamari for the abundance of turtle doves (streptopelia turtur). It was announced as a natural reserve in 1988. It comprises two islands spanning 4.03 km².

Al-Jubayl Marine Wildlife Natural Reserve

It is located in al-Jubayl Industrial City on the western shore spanning 2,410 km².
