King Salman Social Center (KSSC) is one of the non-profit organizations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was inaugurated in 1997 with the aim of providing social services and boosting the developmental role of the social sector in community development. Moreover, KSSC organizes a number of awareness, health, cultural, recreational, and volunteer events and programs to improve the standard of living of the local community.

Cooperation of KSSC with other entities

KSSC enables the community to cooperate with various governmental, private, and civil entities to engage in social responsibilities. Through its active social platform, the center improves the quality of life for Saudi families, addresses social and lifestyle issues, unites efforts with different sectors to solidify social responsibility, and reinforces social roles in general.

Facilities of KSSC

King Salman Social Center includes clubs and sports activities that contribute to psychological and physical treatment. With a wide range of social services and facilities, it promotes a healthy lifestyle among society members, including those who suffer from diabetes, obesity, etc.

The work of KSSC

In 2018, KSSC launched a ten-year strategic plan to keep pace with Saudi Vision 2030 and raise the quality of life. The strategic plan revolves around the sustainability of community service work, the extension of its positive impact, and the spread of awareness, culture, and health among communities. Moreover, the center ensures the financial and operational efficiency of non-profit institutions, as well as social, logistical, and financial sustainability, in line with its endeavors and the aspirations of Saudi families.

Programs of KSSC

The Connect and Communication (Wasl and Tawasul) Program is one of the King Salman Social Center community programs to accomplish effective communication between society members scientifically, cognitively, and culturally, and transfer the experiences and expertise of parents to children in order to leverage them.

The Samie Program is another initiative launched by the center, which consists of interviews, meetings, and health and awareness consultations in the field of physiotherapy and health programs. It targets the elderly to encourage them to lead a healthy lifestyle Moreover, Safir Khair is a social program offering various services, such as entertainment festivals for children, sports and health activities, Hajj and Umrah campaigns, and other humanitarian services. The center provided its various services to about three million male and female beneficiaries, which are expected to reach ten million by 2030.
