Misk al-Qiyam Initiative

Misk al-Qiyam Initiative is an initiative launched by the Initiatives Center at the Mohammed Bin Salman Misk Foundation in 2018. It aims to promote awareness about values among community members, considering them as one of the essential elements of personality. This is achieved through possessing tools that qualify it to offer programs and initiatives that bolster positive content.

Misk al-Qiyam Initiative works to achieve two main objectives: possessing supportive tools to deliver Arabic content positively and enriching it with materials rooted in values. This is in addition to implementing activities, programs, and services directed towards community segments, achieving one of the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes values as a cornerstone for a vibrant society.

Misk al-Qiyam launched several initiatives and programs that contribute to achieving its objectives and promoting commendable values, including:

- A Verse and its Value: It started on May 17, 2018. It is a project based on producing visual clips, each dedicated to a Quranic verse that narrates a behavioral and ethical value. These clips were broadcast during the month of Ramadan on various social media platforms and media channels.

- Values Competition: It began in 2019. It focuses on the idea of enhancing the role of Arabic media content in spreading positive values. This involves the representation of four values, which are: responsibility, trust, integrity, and respect. The competition targeted all thinkers and producers to participate in four areas: the idea for an electronic game, writing a short story, creating a video clip, and drawing.

- Values Camp: It is one of the programs introduced by Misk al-Qiyam, starting from August 4, 2019, until August 8, 2019, to reinforce positive values among youth. It provides them with a five-day residency experience with friends in an interactive environment. This environment utilizes learning methodologies based on play, simulation, and experiential practices, aiding them in developing their personalities, connecting with their surroundings, and employing their capabilities to serve society.

- Leadership by Values Program: I took place from June 25, 2019, until August 1, 2019, targeting university students to enhance their work values, uplift them, and develop their capabilities. This is achieved through observation, guidance, and mentoring by accompanying a leader in one of the community institutions during working hours. This experience benefits the students, broadens their perspectives, and deepens their understanding of work. At the end of the experience, students undergo a debate on values, after training on its fundamentals and expressing opinions logically and with evidence.

- Values platform: It was Launched by Misk al-Qiyam Initiative in 2019, with the goal of protecting children and teenagers from potential dangers they might face when playing electronic games. It provides parents with important information about the game, whether it contains any violations, and reveals the appropriateness of its content before purchasing.
