The Shomoos Security System is a central automated system within the National Information Network. Through the system, information is transferred to the National Information Center at the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via networks licensed by the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission. Its objective is to establish general rules for transferring information of those who deal with private establishments to the National Information Center electronically through the system. Additionally, it outlines mechanisms for controlling violations and corresponding penalties. The Shomoos Security System was established by a Royal Decree on April 21, 2014.
