Eid al-Fitr Breakfast in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the meal that Saudis eat on the morning of the first day of Eid al-Fitr. The provinces of the Kingdom vary in their preparation of breakfast tables, each showcasing its traditional dishes and foods.

Eid breakfast in Riyadh Province

The people of Riyadh celebrate Eid by gathering around the 'Eid spread', which includes popular and traditional foods, such as Jareesh, al-Qursan, and Markook. If Eid coincides with the winter season, the breakfast table includes dishes such as Hanini, Marasee, and porridge.

Eid breakfast in Makkah al-Mukarramah Province

Hijaz breakfast table is known for its traditional sweets, such as: Tahiniah, Harissa, Basbousa, Halawa Labaniah, Halawa al-Laddo, Almond Harissa, Halawa Tabtab al-Janna, ad-Debiyaza, al-Halqoum, and al-Lawziah. The table is complete with the presence of tea, which is the main accompaniment to the Eid breakfast.

Residents of old Jeddah gather around the breakfast table on Eid day, after the Eid prayer, at the home of the eldest family member. The breakfast table includes traditional dishes, among them is 'ad-Debiyaza', a type of popular dessert made from apricots prepared with Qamar ad-Din, to which sugar and nuts are added. In al-Madinah al-Munawwarah Province, the people of the city celebrate by preparing 'ad-Debiyaza' dish for Eid breakfast, and the dessert dish is considered essential in the morning gatherings of Eid day in the city.
