The Job Incentives for the Non-Profit Sector Program is an initiative launched by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to foster integration between the objectives of human resources and social development to generate thousands of attractive qualitative jobs that retain top talents and attract more talents to the non-profit sector. These talents contribute to the sector's empowerment and improvement of the work environment to make the sector more capable of generating quality jobs.
Objectives of the Job Incentives for the Non-Profit Sector Program
The Job Incentives for the Non-Profit Sector Program aims to contribute to reducing unemployment, creating thousands of new job opportunities, deepening the impact of non-profit organizations, increasing their contribution to the gross domestic product from 0.6 percent to 5 percent in accordance with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, and increasing women's participation in the non-profit sector.
Ten occupational incentives
The Job Incentives for the Non-Profit Sector Program was launched based on a study that identified ten top-priority occupational incentives. They are: Flexible Work Incentive: offering flexible work arrangements in terms of place, time, and workdays; Competitive Leave Incentive: providing competitive policies covering different types of work leaves; Varied Employment Contracts Incentive: providing several types of employment contracts attractive to different categories of staff; Professional Performance Assessment and Payment for Positive Performance Incentive; Health Insurance Incentive: upgrading insurance and health care coverage; Pension Incentive: offering multiple options for the Pension Law within social insurance; Career Pathways and Professional Development Incentive: designing career paths on professional basis to ensure professional development commensurate with professional merit; Financing Facilities Incentive: facilitating access to credit facilities from banks; Daycare Incentive: providing appropriate support for daycare in the form of cash allowances, or directly within organizations; and the Improvement of the Workplace Environment and Culture Incentive: providing integrated solutions to improve the workplace environment and culture in non-profit organizations.
