King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, based in Riyadh, the capital of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is an international center active in the field of relief and humanitarian work. It provides aid to those in need and in distress around the world. It seeks to alleviate their suffering and enable their access to a decent life.

2015

- Establishment of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, under the guidance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

- Systematic and regular documentation of humanitarian aid under the United Nations Financial Tracking Service.

2017

- Development of the Saudi Aid Platform, including data on the various humanitarian aid offered by the Kingdom in coordination with the competent authorities.

- Execution of the project for the rehabilitation of war-affected children and child soldiers in Yemen.

2017

Launch of Project Masam for clearing landmines in Yemen.

2018

- Inauguration of Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum.

- Accession as an associate member of the Development Assistance Committee of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

2019

- Documentation under the International Aid Transparency Initiative.

- Execution of international volunteering programs to activate the role of individuals and the community in the field of international volunteering, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

2020

Support of the humanitarian response in Yemen, where the United Nations announced a USD2.23 billion humanitarian response plan for Yemen, with the contribution of the Kingdom as the top donor to the response plan, with a contribution of USD500 million.

2021

The Kingdom's continuation of efforts in providing aid to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, where more than USD154 million were offered in 2021, with a total aid value exceeding USD862 million since the pandemic outbreak.

2022

The Kingdom's ranking second on the United Nations Financial Tracking Service, among the world's top ten largest donors of humanitarian aid to Yemen.

2023

The center's operation of an air bridge to Gazi antep Airport to help earthquake victims in Syria and Turkey.

2023

The Kingdom's launch of a popular campaign through "Sahem" platform to provide relief to the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in addition to an air and sea bridge.

2024

The center's operation of an air bridge to Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport to help the Lebanese people.
