Omar al-Jasser
Omar Mohammed al-Jasser (born 1962) is an actor, writer, and director. He is one of the pillars of Saudi theater and the founder of the first officially recognized private theatrical troupe in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also founded the first private-sector theater. He served as Director of the Culture and Arts Society in Jeddah.

Omar al-Jasser was born in Jeddah City, Makkah al-Mukarramah Province. He attended King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah City, earning a bachelor's degree in sociology.

During his career, Omar al-Jasser strived to serve the cultural and artistic movements in the Kingdom. His valuable contributions include founding the first officially recognized theatrical troupe in the Kingdom, the Jeddah Arts Troupe, in 1986. Additionally, he founded the first private-sector theater in 1996.
