The Traditional Tuesday Market held in Abha City is one of the oldest traditional markets in Aseer Province, southwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The market is approximately two hundred years old. It is a tourism destination and a picnic area due to its heritage-related aspects. It sells heritage memorabilia, local food products for which the province is famous, traditional textiles such as the Asiri attire, and some handicrafts. The elderly manage most shops there and display their products whose making has been inherited from older generations.
The market was known as "Ibn Madhan Market" until 1827. It was then named after its most crowded day. The products that were previously showcased at the market mainly featured food products, such as margarine, honey, whole wheat flour, and sesame oil, which all are goods produced in the province, visited by people from all surrounding regions for supply purposes.
