Musical Theater Program

The Musical Theater Program is a training program organized by the Theater and Performing Arts Commission, part of the Ministry of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of the Talent Development Initiative. The program targeted musical theater enthusiasts and practitioners and was held in three Saudi cities. It followed a timeline starting in the capital, Riyadh, on September 25, 2022, moving to Dammam on October 2, 2022, and concluding in Jeddah City on October 27, 2022.

The Musical Theater Program aligns with the goals of the Theater and Performing Arts Commission to develop the Saudi theater industry and enrich its cultural content. It also aims to raise awareness about performing arts and their various forms, define their frameworks, and introduce their elements and applications. Additionally, the program seeks to enhance the skills of trainees in musical theater to achieve a professional level in live performances, contributing to the cultural movement in the Kingdom.

The Musical Theater Program targeted practitioners in the field, including directors, actors, singers, and dancers, as well as enthusiasts wishing to refine their skills and enhance their performance. The program aimed to contribute to the development of Saudi theatrical talents, thereby elevating the quality of local content.
