Are There Residential Towers at the Holy Site of Mina?

Yes, the Holy Site of Mina, located in Makkah al-Mukarramah, in the west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, houses six residential towers, each consisting of twelve floors. The total number of rooms amount to around 810. The towers form a part of Mina real estate project for housing pilgrims. These towers are located on the slopes of the mountain, behind which runs the third level of the Jamaraat Bridge.

Residential towers at the Holy Site of Mina, in the Holy Sites, cover an overall area of around 88,000 m. They have a capacity of approximately 25,000 pilgrims. The towers are divided into two categories: Category "A," consisting of sixteen residential suits on each floor, and Category "B," encompassing eleven residential suits on each floor. All units are equipped with central air conditioning systems. Each tower includes prayer rooms for men and women, restaurants, central kitchens, dining halls, firefighting systems, and emergency exits.
