Crown Prince's International Initiative for Women Empowerment in Cybersecurity

The Crown Prince's International Initiative for Women Empowerment in Cybersecurity is a global initiative aimed at enhancing cybersecurity, adopted by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. It was announced at the events of the Global Cyber Security Forum on February 4, 2020.

The objectives of the Crown Prince's International Initiative for Women Empowerment in Cybersecurity are to enhance women's access to education and training necessary to play an active role in building the cybersecurity sector, in addition to intensifying efforts to encourage, support, and empower women in the field of cybersecurity, and contributing to reducing the global cybersecurity skills gap.

The National Cybersecurity Authority organized the Women in Cybersecurity Forum on March 1 and 2, 2022, as part of its initiatives to empower women in the cybersecurity field, encourage them to join this field, develop their skills, exchange expertise, and foster professional and leadership capabilities in cybersecurity.

The forum aimed at enhancing women's participation in cybersecurity, raising awareness of available educational and training opportunities, and enabling professional and leadership development to increase their efficiency in this field. Additionally, the forum highlighted the achievements of Saudi women in the cybersecurity sector.
