Article Thirty-Four stipulates that it is the duty of every citizen to defend the Islamic Creed, the community, and the homeland, and specifies the rules for military services.
The Military Service Law has outlined the procedures for joining the armed forces and has set several conditions for enlistment, including the following: applicant must be Saudi, of good character and conduct, not over forty years old, not under eighteen years old, and not employed by one of the government entities.
