Saudi Paralympic medalists are athletes with disabilities who practice a specific sport and have won Olympic medals for the country. The Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee aims to incorporate sports into the daily lives of individuals with disabilities, encouraging them to achieve recognition on global and Paralympic levels, in addition to qualifying them to practice sports activities and raising community awareness of the importance of sports for people with disabilities.
Three Saudi athletes with disabilities were able to achieve five Paralympic medals in the name of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including one gold medal, two silver medals, and two bronze medals. These athletes are:
Osama al-Shanqiti
He won the gold medal in the Paralympic Games (triple jump) in Beijing in 2008, and the silver medal in the Paralympic Games (high jump).
Hani al-Nakhli
He won the silver medal in the Paralympic Games (discus throw) in London in 2012, and he won the bronze medal in the Paralympic Games (discus throw) in Rio in 2016.
Abdulrahman al-Qurashi
He won the bronze medal in the wheelchair race (T53) in Tokyo in 2020
