The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will host the twenty-fifth edition of the FIFA World Cup finals in 2034. Since the tournament's inauguration in 1930, several countries; Italy, France, Brazil, Mexico, and Germany, have hosted it twice. In 2002, for the first time, the tournament was hosted jointly by two countries, South Korea and Japan. Furthermore, the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be hosted by three countries for the first time—the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Similarly, the 2030 FIFA World Cup will take place in three countries, namely Morocco, Spain, and Portugal.
