For the five cities that will host the FIFA World Cup 2034, there will be ten supporting cities. These supporting cities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will provide venues for team camps, referees, training facilities, and other forms of support. These cities are:
Al-Bahah
Al-Bahah is distinguished by its unique natural environment and is an ideal place for outdoor activities in the fresh air. Among the city's most prominent landmarks are Raghadan Forest Park, Shada Mountains, ancient caves, Dhi Ain al-Rakhami Village, al-Kharrar waterfall, and Prince Hussam Park.
Jazan
Jazan extends along the Red Sea coast in the southwest of the Kingdom and is the gateway to the Farasan Islands Reserve, known for its biodiversity and coral reefs. Jazan is also home to 'Jazan Heritage Village,' which includes a museum showcasing the province's rich cultural history.
Taif
Taif is characterized by its mountainous location in the western part of the Kingdom, and is known as the City of Roses, where fragrant roses bloom and perfume factories are widespread. The city is famous for its mountain resorts, which are highly popular among citizens.
Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah
The first Islamic capital and the second holiest place after Makkah al-Mukarramah, al-Madinah al-Munawwarah welcomes millions of pilgrims and Umrah performers annually and is centered around the Prophet's Mosque. Al-Madinah al-Munawwarah holds great historical significance and features a diverse cultural scene.
Al-Ula
Al-Ula is a historical city in the heart of a green oasis and has quickly emerged as a favorite destination to visit in the Kingdom, thanks to its historically significant sites and stunning natural landscapes. The ancient alleyways of al-Ula Old Town lead to heritage sites dating back seven centuries.
Umluj
Umluj is an island in the Red Sea and is a distinctive tourist destination for vacations, characterized by its clear waters and coral reefs.
Tabuk
Located in the western region of the Kingdom, Tabuk is distinguished by its rich history and diverse natural landscapes, from high mountains and vast deserts to coastal cities along the Red Sea coast and its pristine beaches.
Hail
Hail lies between Shammar Mountains to the north and Salma Mountains to the south. It is a vital commercial center, intersected by historical routes extending from east to west and from north to south. The city is known for its agricultural and livestock production and also includes two UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Al-Ahsa
Located between Riyadh and Dammam, al-Ahsa is a vast agricultural oasis stretching across ar-Rub' al-Khali (Empty Quarter) Desert. Al-Ahsa Oasis is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of the largest natural palm oases in the world. The oasis contains over 2.5 million palm trees producing varieties of dates that are exported internationally.
Buraydah
Buraydah is known for hosting the largest date festival in the world. Northwest of Buraydah lies the ancient Uyun al-Jiwa Oasis, which has been mentioned in the poems of famous Arab poets.
