The Waste and Water Economic Industrial Survey is an economic survey, part of the economic (industrial) environmental statistics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It collects environmental statistical data from establishments that utilize waste and aims to reduce the waste of materials, goods, and energy, as well as minimize pollution by maximizing their use. The survey is prepared by the General Authority for Statistics and data is collected via phone calls or an electronic link.

The survey covers economic (industrial) activities, such as mining and quarrying, and manufacturing industries. It collects data on establishments that use waste, defined as any excess or unwanted by-products generated during the production process. The "used waste" refers to the amount of waste utilized within the establishment or in production processes, whether by reusing it in its current state without any transformation, recycling it into usable materials, or burning it to generate energy. As for water, it refers to water produced or extracted by the establishment, such as water drawn from artesian wells or desalinated water produced at desalination plants.

The Waste and Water Economic Industrial Survey is considered one of the key surveys, as it serves as a tool to measure the economic (industrial) environmental status of the industrial economy in the Kingdom. The General Authority for Statistics aims, through this survey, to provide environmental statistical data that aligns with international standards and classifications. Additionally, the survey aims to provide data and indicators to assist decision-makers in developing appropriate environmental policies and fulfilling regional and international commitments related to environmental statistics.
