MASIC Annual Investment Forum

MASIC Annual Investment Forum is a yearly event centered on bringing investors, professionals, and scholars together to debate and share information about the latest developments and trends in economics, finance, and investments.

The first edition of the MASIC Annual Investment Forum was launched in 2018 under the title "Populism and Protectionism: Impact on Global Growth", and aimed to facilitate discussions, share knowledge, and exchange updates on economic, financial, and investment matters. It also sought to attract investments and finance diverse economic projects that contribute to the economic growth of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It brought together investors, professionals, and scholars worldwide and was organized by MASIC Investment Company.

The forum may only be attended by special invitation as it is an exclusive annual gathering that includes a group of dignitaries, decision-makers in the public and private sectors, and investors. English is the official language of the forum and interpretation from English into Arabic is also provided by the host when needed.

This annual event features lectures moderated by an elite group of specialists in the fields of economics, finance, and investments, a questions-and-answers session, a general discussion panel, and presentations, in addition to the ceremony for handing over the Mohammed Bin Ibrahim al-Subeaei Award for Entrepreneurs, which is an annual initiative that began in 2019 and aims to support entrepreneurs by presenting their pioneering projects before a jury to select the winners during the year.

The second edition was held in 2019 under the title 'Disruption Ahead: The Future of Financial Services' at Prince Sultan's Grand Hall in al-Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh City. The third edition, entitled “Impact Investing… How Investors Are Changing the World,” was held in 2020, at Fairmont Hotel in Riyadh City. The fourth edition, titled 'Government Thinking Packages and Investment and Economic Impacts', was held in 2021 in Riyadh City. The fifth edition, entitled 'Digital Currencies: The Road Ahead', was held in 2022 at Prince Sultan's Grand Hall in al-Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh City. The sixth edition, entitled 'Disrupting Geography: Investing in an Uncertain World', was held in 2023 at the Prince Sultan's Grand Hall in al-Faisaliah Hotel, Riyadh City.
