2018

The establishment of an independent company named the Red Sea Development Company (now Red Sea Global Company) as one of the projects of the Public Investment Fund within the Red Sea Project, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, crown prince and prime minister, on July 17, 2017.

2019

The start of the first phase of the Red Sea Project, which included the construction of the Red Sea International Airport, the port, luxury hotels, workers' accommodations, and the completion of the initial infrastructure.

2021

The launch of Coral Bloom's design vision for the main island of the Red Sea Project, designed by the British company Foster Partners to harmonize with the pristine natural environment of the main island.

The disclosure of the final designs for the new mountain resort, Desert Rock, located in one of the valleys in the Red Sea Project area. The project consists of forty-eight villas and twelve hotel suites, allowing tourists to directly experience the nature and local culture of the region.

WSP Middle East has initiated the next phase of the multi-media operational readiness plan for the Red Sea Project destination, preparing to welcome its first visitors by early 2023.

The announcement of the Red Sea Development Company, developer of two of the world's most ambitious regenerative projects, the Red Sea Project and Amaala, to become Red Sea Global (RSG).

The announcement of the Red Sea Global Company of the establishment of a new resort on the Red Sea coast in its tourist destination, under the name Faena The Red Sea, in partnership with a hospitality and hotel brand.
