Lama al-Shethry
Lama Ibrahim al-Shethry is a Saudi journalist, Editor-in-Chief of Sayidaty Magazine and al-Jamila Magazine, and Digital Content Director at Hia Magazine. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Journalist Association.
Lama al-Shethry's academic qualifications
Lama al-Shethry obtained her bachelor's degree in English from King Saud University, Riyadh City, in 2002. She later obtained a Master's in Marketing and Communications from Middlesex University, Dubai, in 2013.
Lama al-Shethry's professional life
Lama al-Shethry served as founder and partner of the Arabic digital magazine Bint Net from 2001 to 2013. She has been the Editor-in-Chief of Sayidaty and al-Jamila magazines since December 21, 2020, and Editor-in-Chief of Directions KSA. Al-Shethry also acted as Digital Content Director at Hia Magazine. She was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Journalists Association on January 28, 2024.
