2020

The commission does this by proposing a museum strategy and operational mechanisms for the sector, encouraging investment and financing in the museum field, and motivating individuals, institutions, and companies to produce and develop museums.

The announcement of the Museums Commission Strategy to develop the museum sector in the Kingdom, including its entire components and organizational and operational paths, and support and empower its practitioners and investors.

2022

The Museums Commission has launched new licenses through the unified electronic platform for cultural licenses and permits, "Abde'a." These licenses are the Public Museums License and the Private Museums License. These licenses aim to support and empower those working in the museum sector and contribute to its development and the achievement of the cultural aspects of Saudi Vision 2030.
