Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company is one of the leading companies in the healthcare, operations, and maintenance sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Established in 1979 in Riyadh, it operates in the supply of medical materials services and products, contracting, maintenance, and operation of medical projects, nutrition, and financing services.

Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company was founded by Saud Mohammed Nasser al-Arifi as a sole proprietorship in 1979 in Riyadh City. The project was transformed into a limited liability company in 2000 with a capital of SAR20 million. In 2016, it became a closed joint-stock company, with a gradual and progressive increase in capital to reach SAR200 million.

In 2023, the Capital Market Authority of the Kingdom approved the request of the Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company to increase its capital from SAR200 million to SAR300 million.

The Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company expanded by diversifying its scope of work to include other sectors that complement its core activity. These sectors include trading in equipment and medical materials, maintenance of medical devices, contracting, nutrition, and catering, as well as the maintenance and operation of both medical and non-medical projects.

The classification of the Scientific and Medical Equipment House as a first-grade contractor has risen in most of the fields in which it operates. This is a result of expanding its portfolio, particularly in large investment projects.

The Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company supplies labor, and operates and manages medical facilities for various government entities, (university medical centers affiliated with the Ministry of Education and public hospitals). Its operational activities include providing specialized human resources in the medical field, such as doctors, specialists, consultants, and nurses.

The Scientific and Medical Equipment House Company has formed strategic partnerships with various entities, through which it has secured over twenty-two medical commercial agencies (either as an exclusive agent or distributor) for numerous prestigious international companies. The company now represents these companies commercially in the Kingdom.
