What Services Does the (Taakad) Application Provide?

Taakad Application provides several digital awareness services regarding desired products, including a service to verify the authenticity of the Saudi quality mark, a service to ensure water consumption efficiency, a service to verify the energy efficiency labels of lighting products, a service to verify the energy efficiency labels of electrical appliances, a service to check the authenticity of the biodegradable plastic logo, a service to search by chassis number to inquire about imported vehicles before purchasing, and the ability to verify the authenticity and details of the fuel economy label on tires. Additionally, the application enables users to identify the most energy-efficient products, displaying all precise data written on the energy efficiency label for various products and comparing similar products. Users can also file reports in case of discrepancies between the product specifications and the mentioned data, as well as review and follow up on these reports.

"Taakad" is a government-approved application in the Kingdom, launched and developed by the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization in partnership with the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center in 2016. It verifies the authenticity of the quality mark in the Kingdom and the energy efficiency labels for electrical products such as air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators, in addition to tires, vehicles, and other products.
