First medal: Hadi Soua'an

In 2000, Hadi Soua'an participated in the athletics events at the Sydney Olympic Games in the four-hundred m hurdles competition. He succeeded in winning the first Saudi medal in Olympic history by securing second place in this race.

Second medal: Khaled al-Eid

In 2000, the Saudi equestrian Khaled al-Eid, riding his horse Khashm al-Aan, won the bronze medal in the equestrian show jumping competition at the Sydney Olympic Games. This accomplishment earned him a place among the Saudi champions and marked the second medal for the Kingdom in its Olympic history.

Third medal: Equestrian team

In the 2012 London Olympics, the Kingdom won the bronze medal in the team show jumping event. The Saudi team, led by Prince Abdullah Bin Mutaib, included riders Kamal Bahamdan, Ramzy al-Duhami, and Abdullah al-Sharbatly. This was the first team medal for the Kingdom and the third overall Saudi Olympic medal.

Fourth medal: Tariq Hamdi

In 2021, Saudi karate player Tariq Hamdi won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics, becoming the fourth Saudi athlete to win an Olympic medal. Hamdi reached the final, where he faced Iranian Sajjad Ganjzadeh. Leading four-one, Hamdi was disqualified by the Turkish referee due to the extensive force of his strike, resulting in awarding the gold medal to Ganjzadeh. Tariq Hamdi thus secured the silver medal.
