The Future Heroes Initiative for Digital Skills Development is an initiative launched by the Communications and Information Technology Commission (now known as the Communications, Space, and Technology Commission), as part of the programs for enhancing digital citizenship in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to raise the level of digital skills among young people, create a well-informed and integrated community, and equip individuals with the necessary skills to meet technological knowledge needs and ultimately empower the homeland digitally.

The Future Heroes Initiative is an extension of the strategic goals of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It aligns with the objectives of the Human Capability Development Program, a program by Saudi Vision 2030. This initiative is part of the programs that promote digital citizenship, which is defined as the responsible, ethical, and safe use of information and communication technology by individuals as good and responsible citizens in both local and global communities.

The Future Heroes Initiative aims to create a generation proficient in technical skills to support the digital economy and develop the capabilities of the emerging generation by enhancing their technical skills. It also seeks to motivate and empower the youth to use technology responsibly and ethically, increase their awareness of risks associated with technology use. and promote the concept of digital citizenship.

The Future Heroes Initiative offers a variety of programs and events for participants, including the establishment of training camps and encouraging youth to participate in digital competitions. Additionally, it promotes the dissemination of knowledge through the Future Trucks Program and other programs, allowing participants to explore technologies and experience transforming ideas into real prototypes.
