It began its contributions by building the Petrochemical Complex in al-Jubayl, followed by the establishment of an ethylene cracking plant. The company operates in the petrochemical sector through a group of companies, including the Saudi Polyolefins Company, the Saudi Ethylene and Polyethylene Company, the Saudi Acrylic Acid Company, the Saudi Acrylic Monomer Company (SAMCO), the Saudi Acrylic Polymer Company (SAPCO), and the Saudi Butanol Company (SABUCO).

Transformative Industries: The National Industrialization Company has focused on manufacturing industries and invested in many of them since its inception. It operates in this field through a group of companies, including Taldeen Plastic Solutions Company Ltd., Rowad National Plastic Company Ltd., National Batteries Company (Battariat), National Marketing and Industrial Services Company, National Lead Smelting Company Ltd. (RASASS), National Inspection and Technical Testing Company Ltd. (FAHSS), and National Metal Manufacturing and Casting Company (MAADANIYAH).
