The Digital Government Award is aimed at supporting digital government innovation to enhance an integrated digital society that provides innovative digital services improving quality of life in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030. It incentivizes government entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve the highest local and international standards during the digital transformation journey. It was issued and organized by the Digital Government Authority, comprising four main categories classified into institutional and individual categories.

Objectives

The Digital Government Award aims to highlight excellence in government performance, document the best digital solutions to enable and accelerate sustainable digital transformation, propose innovative digital solutions to contribute to the creation of developmental and creative opportunities in the government sector, adopt the highest local and international standards during the digital transformation journey, and enhance the efficiency of government work.

Organizing the Digital Government Award

The Digital Government Authority is the organizer of the Digital Government Award, but it does not participate in the judging process. This is to ensure neutrality and transparency in the evaluation. The authority's role is limited to organizing, supervising, and coordinating among participants and judges.

The award judging panel is comprised of a selection of independent experts and specialists separate from the Digital Government Authority. Members of the judging panel are chosen based on their expertise and contributions to various local and international awards in the field. The judging team operates through an independent workshop to evaluate the nominations submitted for the award within a specified timeframe.

The targeted categories for the Digital Government Award
